Self-Storage Pricing Workshop

1-5 p.m.

Self-Storage Pricing Workshop
Traditional self-storage pricing approaches, such as "everyday low pricing," can be relatively easy to implement but typically result in less revenue―and far less profit―than more systematic and dynamic strategies. While the larger operators are already using such tactics, it's only recently that more advanced pricing capabilities have become available to small and mid-size companies.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to take greater control over your facility's start rates, move-in promotions and rate modifications for existing customers. Our presenter will review the financial impact of alternative pricing strategies, demonstrating the use and power of analytics.

You will learn:

  • Why small changes in price often have a much greater impact on profit than on revenue (and in surprising ways)
  • How data-driven pricing can enhance and improve (not replace!) intuition and experience
  • Where conventional pricing wisdom has been wrong
  • When it's important to consider competitor pricing (and when it may not be as necessary)
  • Different ways to implement pricing programs and why some are better than others
  • What you can do to improve your pricing and earn greater profit

This workshop will help you think differently about your pricing and identify specific ways to improve your pricing decisions.
